The baby in your belly is officially called a fetus. In the course of the fourth month of pregnancy, it will increasingly take on the shape of a real baby. The proportions will become more similar - but the head will still remain relatively large.
As well as growing, your baby's internal organs will also continue to develop. The heart, liver and kidneys continue to develop and train their function. Your baby can already hear sounds outside your belly through the sound transmission of the bones. Its ears are not yet able to perceive sounds.
The ears assume their final position on the sides of the head in the fourth month of pregnancy. The eyes are now also in the middle of your baby's face. The reproductive organs also develop during this phase of pregnancy.
